The Invisible Library
ReisefeWithin the labyrinthine corridors of the infinite cosmos, there exists a place untouched by time and unseen by the prying eyes of reality—the Invisible Library. This ethereal repository is beyond the mere concept of vast, for it houses every book that has ever been written and every tome that ever could be, across countless dimensions and parallel universes.
Curated by an enigmatic group known as The Librarians, the library's purpose is two-fold: to preserve the literary artifacts of all worlds and to maintain the delicate balance between chaos and order. The librarians are not ordinary humans; they are gifted with the power to traverse dimensions and the wisdom to use their abilities for the greater good.
Our story follows Irene, a young and spirited junior librarian who is tasked with her first solo mission—to retrieve a dangerous book that has the power to unleash a catastrophic war in an alternate 19th century London. The book, seemingly mundane to any non-magical eye, is a keystone for an ancient, interdimensional being that seeks to escape its bondage.
Stealth, cunning, and no small amount of literary knowledge are Irene’s tools as she navigates not only the cobblestone streets filled with steampunk ingenuity but also a shadowy society that wishes to use the book for its own malevolent ends. Alongside her is her enigmatic assistant, Kai, whose mysterious past and own magical heritage are as much a help as a hindrance.
As Irene delves deeper into this Victorian world of goggles and gears, she uncovers a conspiracy that threads through the very fabric of realities. With the invisible yet all-seeing Library’s breadth of knowledge at her fingertips, Irene must confront her fears, challenge her intellect, and trust in the unknown to secure the book and return it to its rightful place on the invisible shelves before the balance of power is irrevocably destroyed.
